Yogita L Rajgandhi has been on the Optometry Faculties mainly which are affiliated with ITM, DY PATIL, SNDT University and as external examiner with Universities in India. She has published 53 articles and 72 Nationals an Internationals reports in journals and publications in optometry, visual science and low vision, community optometry.
She has presented 29 research papers, interviewed more than 6 times on FM Radio by University of Mumbai life member of 7 National and 4 Internationals associations, has invited 24 times as external examiner. She was honored with 6 various fellowships from International organizations for her contributions towards profession and research. She has received 65 awards and special mementos for her academic research work on visually impaired and contribution towards community selfless work
She is Managing Director of Rajgandhi eye Care Institute; she is current board member of Indian optometric Association-as a Joint secretary, Editor of Delhi Optometrists Association and Founder executive committee member of Maha Optometry Association. She is a President of VOSH-USA India chapter since few years. She was ASCO-INDIA National Representative and also Ex-head of the low vision center, National Association for the blind (Mumbai).
She was one of the top 4 finalists as most inspirational working women Hunt for the year 2012 at national level on occasion of International women day 8th March 2012 from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, and also invited as Inspirational Optometrist on 8th March at Dr DY Patil University -Department of Optometry and visual science-Pune ( Maharashtra), last but not the least, she has been honored as BEST OPTOMETRIST AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2013-14 for her ethics, skills and academic knowledge at National Conference - 36 All India Optometry Conference held at Agra September 4-6 2014.
